Saint Christol, right in the heart of Languedoc, between Nîmes and Montpellier

The gite (a self-catering holiday apartment rental), is situated in St-Christol, a winemaking village, halfway between Nîmes and Montpellier, a few miles away from the Cévennes mountain range.

Ideal Location : a mere 20 kilometres' drive to the Mediterranean beaches and just a few more miles to the Camargue Protected Nature Park and its abundant wildlife, free-ranging horses and bulls, flamingos etc..
The gite is on the first floor of an authentic Languedoc winemakers' house which has been tastefully renovated.

It has been designed to meet the needs of a family or group of friends for a weekend break or a longer stay.

The gite is not far from the mediaeval city of Sommières and its Roman bridge and is set in quiet surroundings overlooking the vineyards (AOC-rated wines) and can be a starting point to explore the very rich cultural heritage of the region (the Pont Du Gard, the Roman Amphitheatre in Nîmes), its picturesque market and winemaking villages, and enjoy all kinds of sporting activities like path-walking, cycling, canoeing, riding etc..
